Our story
Kep Bags (FLEXOMATEI) began as a family business, founded in 2006 at the initiative of Ciprian Matei, after several years of study and experience in the paper packaging industry. That same year, the first production machines were acquired.
2007
The company officially entered the market, offering innovative ideas and products that quickly gained customer trust.
2008–2009
A period of growth, marked by an expanding base of loyal clients who remain with us today.
2010
The production facility relocated to E. Teodoroiu Street, T70, into a privately owned, renovated building, allowing for the addition of new production equipment.
2011
Introduction of new offers aimed at stimulating further growth.
2012
Acquisition of a 6-color flexographic printing machine, significantly improving print quality and production efficiency.
The same year, we purchased our first paper bag–making machine, increasing production capacity and product diversity.
2014
Installation of a second paper bag–making machine.
In the years that followed, all conditions were in place for the company to become a recognized name in the paper packaging industry — thanks to solid experience, resilience through the 2008 economic crisis, continuous technological development, ambition, and constant investment.
